Hey all.
As I write, I’m sitting in our motel-ish ski condo, hot off a mixed-bag ski day featuring deep, uncharacteristically-wet- for-Colorado powder, watching a thoroughly bemused Lou Dobbs squaring off—if that’s what you want to call it—with the somewhat endearing but equally enraging Al Sharpton. Right now Lou’s got his hands clasped, up to his mouth, looking out of the top of his eyeballs; a far cry from his usual outrage, slobbering on behalf of you, the American people. Sharpton is trying to draw a tenuous connection between racism and media monopolization.
Anyhow, Colorado has been good despite the crazy high temperatures. If it doesn’t snow though I don’t think I’ll be skiing another day. Lift tickets are only a sliver south of $100/day and the dense snow is shredding my legs up something fierce.
