Unfortunately I didn’t wind up finding a ticket to last night’s Allman Brothers show at the Beacon. I’m not a huge Allman Brothers fan to be honest but I knew, given the lineup of guests that had been playing with them all week, another guitar god showdown was sure to go down.
This morning I poked around and found out that yes, as was suspected, Clapton was the special guest and they covered one of my favorite Hendrix songs, shit, one of my favorite songs, period, “Little Wing.”
