I saw Zombieland the other night and thought it was decent. My biggest gripes were Jessie Eisenberg’s narration and the Zombieland ‘rules’ that flash over the screen the WHOLE movie. One of the best parts, actually, was the opening credits, set to Metallica’s “For Whom The Bell Tolls.” It’s stylistically similar to the equally awesome opening credits in Watchmen. Contrapuntally, you risk overshadowing the actual film by having such awesome opening credits, with very evocative songs.
