Last summer, a bunch a fixed gear bicycle enthusiasts and the rest of the Critical Mass bike gang were riding south on Broadway in NYC when an NYPD cop, in typical NYPD fashion, did something boneheaded, which under-educated, roided-up NYPD cops are known for, and body checked a young man, Christopher Long, off his bike. Of course, the NYPD initially backed up the cop who hit Long but then as usual the public’s clamor for justice couldn’t be ignored and the NYPD finally did the right thing and the cop’s head rolled the way it should have. Now, a year later, Chris Long, the guy who was knocked off the bike, is suing the city (surprise) for 1.5 mil.
Here’s what Long’s lawyer had to say, “There is psychological trauma, which explains why he is not living in New York City right now. It is a terrible experience for him to go through.”
This kind of right one injustice with a an even perhaps greater injustice of abusive litigiousness is one of the most shameful things going on in the US today. I’m glad the meathead in blue got fired for hitting the kid, but someone should also go up to Wisconsin and find Chris Long and punch him squarely in the balls.
Chris Long, you are no better than the cop who knocked you off your bike.
And, here’s the video if you never saw it.

Critical mass is a joke. “Lets show how big of assholes cars can be, by being huge assholes.” It should be legal to fire guns into those crowds of hipster sheeple.
